Athens Area Horse Community
A horse property is not just any house, farm, or piece of land. It has valuable amenities that the average buyer may not understand, be interested in, or appreciate the investment in. Athens Area Horse Properties and Athens Area Horse Community are sister companies. This means that we have access to a network of thousands of horse people within the Greater Athens area that do understand and appreciate the equestrian amenities on your client’s property. While not all of these people are looking for a new farm or home, many of them are connected to someone who is or have friends that may be interested in moving to our area if they find the right place to call home. Further, AAHC is the trusted resource for all things horse in our area, including real estate.
Social Media and Featured Properties
We would love to share your equestrian listing through our channels. We have a growing Athens Area Horse Properties Facebook group, a Facebook and Instagram page, we keep an updated page on our website of listings we have shared with our social media, and we provide printed materials featuring the most recent and most relevant horse properties listed in our area at our open houses and open barns.

Open Barns
Many of the listings that we highlight have land and meadows that can be turned into a horse farm, but for those properties that are already decked out for horses, AAHP would love to host an “Open Barn” at your listing. An Open Barn is similar to an Open House in that we will market the event within our network and bring in potential buyers or open it up for public viewers, depending on the preferences of the seller. We specifically will be offering tours of the equestrian amenities on the property, reserving touring any homes on the property for a second viewing with an agent. We will provide refreshments and information and will take any attendees on a guided tour.
